Local Area Giving

The Foundation directly supports local residents who may be experiencing financial hardship due to a crisis like a house fire or a devastating medical condition. It also donates funds to local organizations which, in turn, support those in need. It regularly contributes to local fire companies, first aid squads, the police benevolent association, food banks, hospitals, agencies that house those in crisis, environmental education groups, and other local charitable causes. The Foundation is proud to support the broader community in which we spend our summers or live year-round. In 2022, grant support to individuals and organizations serving the larger area exceeded $50,000.
