Those wishing to volunteer as crew are asked to please reach out to Sailing Chair, John Tonzola at johntonzola@gmail.com. This is a very unique opportunity to sail aboard one of Barnegat Bay's truly classic vessels.

Spectators

This event is the ideal spectator event! Grab a cocktail and head on down to the Main Dock as you watch all of these stunning vessels set their sites on the Club for a photo-finish right at "A" barrel.

The Format 

This event will involve a variety of catboats and other classic sailboats racing pursuit-style. This entails a start based on an adjusted handicap scoring system for the various classes. 

The slowest boat (a Duckboat) will start first with other classes starting at precise times after based off of the Duckboat start. If all the boats sail their proper course and the scoring system is accurate, then all the boats will cross the A Barrel finish at the same time. The boats will be awarded the place they actually cross the line
